Dallas Dragoons
We are Dallas-Fort Worth's buhurt team. We wear real steel armour and fight full contact with blunted weapons, and it is honestly the most fun any of us have ever had. Armored combat is the oldest team sport in the world, it is alive and well in Dallas, and there is absolutely a place in it for you.
What is buhurt?
Buhurt is full-contact armored combat: modern knight fighting. Two teams in full steel armour meet on the list field and fight until one side is left standing. It is a real sport with real contact, and it is also joyful, ridiculous fun. Everyone out there is grinning under the helm.
It looks wild from the outside. It is also the friendliest sport any of us have ever been part of, because every single person out there remembers turning up knowing nothing and being made welcome anyway.
You do not need armour and you do not need to be in shape. You just need to come and say hello. We will lend you gear, teach you the basics, and make sure you have a good time doing it.
